Drafting class: Basic Shift Dress Philippines

Today’s a nice Sunday. Our student was able to draft her basic shift dress for the first time.

If you took lessons from us, I suggest that you repeat the same project so that you can practice doing it better or at least faster. πŸ˜‰

Gawa Ko To Pattern Drafting Workshop in Bacolod CityΒ

It all started with a wedding invitation. One of my friends in Shanghai is getting married!

Don’t they look fab?! I thought this is the perfect time to visit another friend, whom I also met in Shanghai, and haven’t seen in years!

She told me we should sew things together. I thought. Ok, why not do a workshop as well. We announced on Facebook probably a month before.

Wait, I almost forgot,

I caught the bouquet!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ One of the highlights of my trip. I hope this tradition yields accurate results. Lol!

For the location, we are so lucky to find a newly opened establishment, Arendo Coworking Space. They are really nice there and accommodating and it is right in front of LaSalle.

The students I’ve met have interest in sewing but some of them have just tried to sew but without formal training.

We were laughing and just sewing together. πŸ™‚

Here are some pictures from the event. As always, it is very warm and pleasant to be in Bacolod πŸ™‚ Oh and I probably ate a bit too much lol. We were eating non-stop! Today is rest day before leaving for Manila tomorrow! Thank you so much!!! ❀️❀️❀️
