Sewing Kid’s Clothes

My friend Magie visited Gawa Ko To today. She made clothes for her kids, 2 years old and 5 years old.

It was fun coz she did both clothes in just one afternoon. You could see from the pictures how neat her sewing was.  If you want to learn sewing, send us a message. We offer sewing lessons in Makati and Los Baños, Laguna.

Tote Bag Sewing Lessons in Laguna

For first-time sewers, i highly recommend starting with an easy project first, like this tote bag. That way, you have plenty of time to get adjusted to the machine, sewing, threading the machine and so on.

Afterwards, you can shift to some basic drafting classes and make your own clothes. At Gawa Ko To Handicrafts, we not only sell sewing supplies, see our shop>> Http://

We also offer sewing classes and pattern drafting lessons. You can also simply choose the projects you like instead of going through a whole series of sewing course.

We are also open to teach by appointment in Makati. Thank you!

Mermaid Tail Sewing Lessons

This week, we have one of our students sew a mermaid tail. She’s only 6!!! It was quite fun and interesting to do as I think she is one of our youngest students. She may be young but she knows what she wants. 🙂

She was assisted the whole time she was sewing. We also explained to her how the measurements was taken and she cut the paper pattern herself.

I think with kids, it is nice to encourage them to make their own things and decide on the colors, the style and all these things as it helps them pay attention to details and be more creative.

If you would also like to try making your own mermaid tail, you can leave us a message here.
