Today’s a nice Sunday. Our student was able to draft her basic shift dress for the first time.
If you took lessons from us, I suggest that you repeat the same project so that you can practice doing it better or at least faster. 😉
Kauuwi lang namin galing Bacolod kahapon at kinabukasan, may class kami agad!
Hindi ko lang matanggihan si Ma’am, galing Davao pa sya! I am really touched and honored naghintay talaga siya na makabalik ako. 🙂 Thank you po Ma’am sa tiwala!
Hay ayan Friday ngayon, excited nako matulog hahaha.
/// To be translated in the future. 🙂
It all started with a wedding invitation. One of my friends in Shanghai is getting married!
She told me we should sew things together. I thought. Ok, why not do a workshop as well. We announced on Facebook probably a month before.
Wait, I almost forgot,
For the location, we are so lucky to find a newly opened establishment, Arendo Coworking Space. They are really nice there and accommodating and it is right in front of LaSalle.
We were laughing and just sewing together. 🙂
Here are some pictures from the event. As always, it is very warm and pleasant to be in Bacolod 🙂 Oh and I probably ate a bit too much lol. We were eating non-stop! Today is rest day before leaving for Manila tomorrow! Thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
My friend Magie visited Gawa Ko To today. She made clothes for her kids, 2 years old and 5 years old.
It was fun coz she did both clothes in just one afternoon. You could see from the pictures how neat her sewing was. If you want to learn sewing, send us a message. We offer sewing lessons in Makati and Los Baños, Laguna.
I would just like to share this clip when we did sewing demo with kids. Actually they were very curious about the machine. 🙂
Yesterday, a woman came into our shop a bit nervous and fidgety. She asked me, if we were offering sewing lessons. I replied, “yes!” and immediately showed her the options.
She exclaimed that she’s always dreamed about this. And she’s not from Los Baños, I could tell from her accent she is probably from Visayas region. She said, “I just came here to work and you are just here.I’m so so lucky! This is my dream!!!”
She said if she doesn’t work anymore she just wants to spend the day making clothes. Awww! This is what I’ve also wanted to share something that matters. ❤️
